Meet the Team
Cast Iron Coding is a team of developers and web specialists who are committed to building high-quality sites that meet our clients' business goals.
Cast Iron Coding was created in 2004 by longtime colleagues Zach Davis and Lucas Thurston, who had been working individually as freelancers. In 2006, Cast Iron Coding hired it's first full-time employee, Gabe Blair. In 2007, the company set up a new office in the Olympic Mills Commerce Center in Portland's Central Eastside Industrial District. In 2010, after hiring two more full-time developers and a part-time office manager, the company moved into a larger space in the same building. In the same year, Cast Iron Coding converted from a limited liability company to a S-Corporation. Currently, Cast Iron Coding employs five full-time employees, one part-time employee, as well as a number of local sub-contractors.
