Cast Iron Coding is frequently approached by designers and project managers from other companies to bridge the gap between planning a site and implementing it in TYPO3. While we also manage projects from the planning stages to post-launch evaluation, we appreciate our partners, value the business they provide us, and are always willing to put in a good word for them.

The Tides Foundation site was a collaboration between Cast Iron Coding and Mission Control Media, with MCM handling the design and information architecture and CIC rendering XHTML/CSS from Photoshop documents, implementing the site in TYPO3, setting up necessary features and extensions, and creating the custom rotating billboard extension on the homepage. There were plenty of challenges on this site, from creating paginated page groups which are combined in the print version of the page and a unique breadcrumb navigation that abbreviates itself based on the width of the page it appears on. The result, is a highly usable, beautiful website that exemplifies what smart design, a deep understanding of usability and TYPO3 can accomplish when working in symphony.
