Tides Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together small non-profits and donors to work toward positive social change. The old website was in need of reorganization, a fresh look and feel, and an easy-to-understand but sophisticated navigation. Mission Control Media, a Cast Iron Coding partner, specializes in state-of-the-art website design, information architecture and project management. It was the responsibility of Cast Iron Coding to:

• Take the original Photoshop documents, slice them up and render the web templates in HTML and CSS,
• Implement these templates in TYPO3,
• Configure TYPO3, including creating custom user scripts to modify TYPO3's normal rendering of certain elements, to output the dynamic page elements and navigation correctly,
• Write a custom TYPO3 extension for the rotating images on the homepage. The extension rotates through images and through combinations of images and is completely template-driven and configurable with TypoScript.
