1. All of our shared servers are optimized for TYPO3 in particular, and for open source LAMP applications in general. For this reason, we run current, stable versions of PHP that are compiled with popular extensions including GD, Freetype, SOAP, XML, CURL and DOM.
2. For security purposes, requests for shell access are reviewed carefully. We reserve the right to refuse requests for shell access or to impose a waiting period before granting shell access. We also reserve the right to request proof of address and to verify the user's identity before granting SSH access.
3. Cast Iron Coding stores incremental backups of all client files on all servers, and these backups are checked regularly to ensure proper functioning. However, clients are ultimately responsible for backing up their own data and these backups are provided solely as a courtesy. We do not take any responsibility for lost data, as per our terms of service
